NYC New York Color Sparkle Eye Dust

I have another review today from a product I got from Influenster!

I have the NYC Sparkle Eye Dust in Smokey Topaz. 

It is a nice brown color with a ton of sparkle, it is a medium brown color, not to dark and not to light. I love it especially right now as a Fall color and can easily be used as a smokey color.

The Packaging looks like this. It has a doe foot applicator, like a lipgloss. I love this packaging but then I hate it, I love it because it is small enough to fit in your purse for touch ups or if you're in a hurry u take this with you, with the applicator just sweep it on for an easy eye lid color. The one thing i hate about it but obviously can be fixed is the fall out, when you pull out the applicator the eye shadow on the stick does fall and can land all over your face if you don't clean the applicator. An easy fix is just to clean it or swipe the color first on your finger and apply the color with your finger and not the brush for a more precise application and you will also get more of that shimmer if you pat it on with your finger. 

Here is a picture of the doe foot applicator. You can see some of the shimmer of the eyeshadow. I love the color!

Over all I give this Product an A! I am in love with the color and I will wear it so much with my fall clothing and when I go out with my boyfriend on date night as a smokey color!

Olay Fresh Effects {Shine, Shine Go Away!} Shine Minimizing Cleanser

Today I am going to review Olay Fresh Effects Shine Minimizing Cleanser. 

This is a new Cleanser that Olay has come out with. This is more directed towards younger women and teenagers. I know the Fresh Effects Line comes with make up towels, BB Cream, Moisturizer, and a Cleanser with a Brush. I only have the Shine Go Away Cleanser. 

I have used this for about 3 weeks now and I like it. I don't exactly love it though. I have oily skin and I thought this would be perfect for me. The cleanser is a creamy type, I always prefer the scrubs though. It is a cream and what I don't like about it is that once you dry your face, if make your face feel tight and leaves it dry. When I first used it I washed my face, wiped my face with a towel and after 5 minutes I looked in the mirror and I had patched of white dry skin. Even though it did that, every cream cleanser I've washed my face with has done that to my face, I just put a moisturizer and it goes away. 

Another thing was that the main selling point of this cleanser is that it is suppose to make shine go away

As you can see on the bottle it says "Shine Shine Go Away!". Well like I said before, I have very oily skin and thought I would be perfect to test this claim. Well, I tried it and like all the other products that claim it gets rid of shine, this does not. =/ I was really hoping it does, I will give it credit that it does for a while, but once you got out and after an hour or two, I started to see my face get oily and shiny. 

One good thing about this is that it states is has the power of a facial mask but cleans as good a a cleanser. This is very true! I have a mask I use from avon and after using this I feel the same satisfaction I would get if I did use the Avon Mask. I really felt it cleansed my face and I did notice I didn't get any pimples while using this. I am in my early 20s and still get acne but after using this I did see I hardly got any acne. 

Over all I give this product a B. I would've given it a C but I love that it felt like it cleansed my skin pretty good and had noticeably less acne. Even though it did all that, I gave it this grade because it didn't make the shine go away on my face. But since everyone's skin is different maybe this cleanser will work better for you than it did me.

Lifeway Kefir Milk Smoothie

Recently I was given a voucher to redeem a Lifeway Kefir yogurt. I got one at my  nearest Food 4 Less and I got the flavor in Strawberry Banana. I got it at a good time too because it has been super hot in Los Angeles and with Halloween coming up (also the Disney Halloween party time event) I want to lose weight to fit in my costume so this is a perfect time to try a healthy snack.

Like I said I got the strawberry-Banana flavor. The taste of it is amazing! It is very nice and refreshing. The way I have it is a cut up some fresh strawberries, slice them in thin slices and put them on the bottom of my cup then pour some of the yogurt on top. Taste very good like that. I have seen a few recipes online that I definitely want to try, especially the one that teaches you how to make Popsicle with the yogurt.

Here is the Nutrition facts on this yogurt. I got the 32 oz bottle. As you can see it is not too bad of a healthy snack. Has all the main vitamins and has 140 calories which is perfect for me and only 20 calories from fat!
ON the bottle is says "Published research has shown the healthy probiotic cultures found in the Lifeway Kefir may:
-Enhance the Immune system
-Balance digestive Health
Enhance and Balance with lifeway kefir"
